Join GSBA for a practical Spring workshop focused on helping small and micro businesses break down barriers to securing grants.
Facilitated by GSBA’s Grant Writer & Manager, Devonshire Lokke, this Spring workshop will focus on breaking down barriers to securing grants for small and micro business.
Topics will include grant research (where to find grants for small businesses), grant writing (how to apply for grants), budgeting (how to track and manage grant funds), and reporting (how to share successes and challenges with funders).
As a grant writer and manager for 6+ years, Devonshire knows that grants can seem intimidating and overwhelming, especially for a small or micro-business owner. This workshop will provide entrepreneurs with the confidence, tools, and resources to quickly and competitively pursue future grant opportunities (presented by both GSBA and other funders). Workshops will be open to GSBA members and non-members and will be in person at the GSBA offices in Capitol Hill, Seattle.
The session will conclude with 30 minutes of Q&A, to address participants’ unique business needs.
No prior grant experience is required.
