2025 Scholarship Volunteer Reviewer Application

Thank you for your interest in helping us select the 2025 GSBA Scholar Cohort. We aim to create diverse teams of folks that best reflect our scholars. Please answer the following questions completely to better assist to that end.

A few items to note:
- Volunteers will be assigned to small teams of 4 & up to 20 applications to review.
- From those applications, teams will then narrow down their applicant group to 3-4 applicants.
- Teams will then conduct interviews of their top 3-4 applicants.
- This is all held online via Zoom.

Dates of participation are:

  • Wednesday, January 29, 6-7:30 p.m.:  New Volunteer Orientation, or 
  • Thursday, January 30, 6-7:30 p.m.: Returning Volunteer Orientation

and: 

  • Friday and/or Saturday, February 14-15 – Scholar Selection Meeting (who to push thru to interviews) 
  • Friday and/or Saturday, March 14-15 – Scholar Interview Day 

If you will have a conflict on any of these dates, please consider skipping this round & passing on the opportunity to another volunteer.
Folks will start hearing back on their status by Tuesday, January 21, 2025. If you have any questions, please email morganr@thegsba.org.

To volunteer as a Scholarship Reviewer, you must be able to attend meetings (via Zoom) on the following days.
