Food is Love GSBA Culinary Arts Scholarship Application 2025-2026

Welcome to GSBA Scholarship! We're glad you found us!

The Food is Love Scholarship is established in partnership with the Seattle Culinary Academy housed at Seattle Central College in honor of Chef Tamara Murphy. Chef Tamara’s impact on the Seattle culinary community spans far and wide, from her dedication to sustainable farming, fundraising for small family farms, mentorship to several chefs in their early careers, and support of the Capitol Hill community throughout the pandemic. With this scholarship, Chef Tamara’s vision of food as a unifying and healing force will carry forth to a new voice in the culinary world.
