CLASS: SPIRITUAL PROTECTION

Learn how to guard your energy during uncertain times, and ensure your own path through the darkness.

TEACHER: ADZIKSHM NO’A (GIGI NATHAN)

Traditional Indigenous Healing Adzikshm No'a (Gigi) is a traditional Indigenous healer living on Duwamish land. They are Tsimshian, Raven in the House of a Frog, and Haida. Some of their gifts were from birth, and many came later and through ancestors and spirit guides. In 2015 their son went missing on Deer Mountain in Ketchikan, Alaska. They climbed up and down all over the mountain for a month, searching for him, before flying home, heartbroken. Her son was one of four missing Indigenous Ketchikan men in 2015; his remains were found in the spring. After his death, Gigi got involved with MMIP (Missing & Murdered Indigenous People) to heal, and then to help her community heal, and transform their own grief into medicine. Gigi works with their ancestors to clear the path and support your journey, but it's you that must choose to walk it and do the work.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

Crystal Lounge by Crystallography Gems respectfully acknowledges the original and current caretakers of this land, water, and air: the Duwamish Tribe & Coast Salish people, all of their ancestors, and descendants. This land is Indigenous and was colonized through the use of interlocking systems of dominance: white supremacy, imperialism, capitalism, and patriarchy. It is our collective responsibility to support Indigenous people, culture, and rights, thereby honoring, protecting, and sustaining this land. We strive toward including and honoring decolonized knowledge and traditions.
