Washington’s new LGBTQ Business Enterprise (LGBTQBE) Certification is live—and it’s opening doors for LGBTQ-owned businesses to compete for state contracts. Join the Office of Minority & Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE) and the Department of Enterprise Services (DES) to learn how to get certified (free of charge), where to find opportunities, and how to navigate state procurement.

About the Certification

Launched July 1, 2025, Washington’s LGBTQBE certification recognizes LGBTQ-owned businesses in public contracting. Businesses must be for-profit, licensed in Washington, at least 51% owned and controlled by LGBTQ+ individuals, and meet the personal net worth threshold.
