What does community safety look like—and who gets to shape that vision? Join us for a timely and engaging forum with the candidates vying to serve as Seattle’s next City Attorney.
This nonpartisan, public event will offer GSBA members and the broader community an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates about their visions for justice, safety, and accountability in Seattle.
What To Expect At the Forum
Moderated by an impartial facilitator, the forum will feature timed questions posed by a panel, with equal response time for all candidates. Audience members will also have the chance to submit questions for a closing Q&A segment.
From navigating the fentanyl epidemic to tackling misdemeanor prosecution policy, this forum will help you understand how each candidate plans to use the office to influence Seattle’s public safety landscape.
The Seattle City Attorney’s Office touches the lives of every resident.
From influencing how low-level crimes are prosecuted to shaping the policies behind drug enforcement, diversion, and civil protections—this is your chance to ask questions and make an informed decision this election season.

From the Venue
We are a family-friendly (and friendly dog welcoming) brewery and beer hall at the corner of Broadway & Union. We are very excited to be a part of the diverse and vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood and look forward to getting to know our neighbors. We have plenty of beer on tap but also offer a variety of alternatives. Food trucks will continue to park with us every day for when you get hungry.
Note: This event is unhosted, but Stoup has graciously offered the community their space, so plan on supporting this GSBA member by purchasing a drink and some bites when you attend!
