Join the Seattle Department of Transportation and members of the Capitol Hill community to help shape healthier connections, cleaner air, calmer streets, and easier ways to walk, roll, bike, and take transit around the neighborhood.

Registration is free and optional. Community members are welcome to attend without registering.

The Low Pollution Neighborhood Open House is an opportunity to work directly with neighbors and the Seattle Department of Transportation to imagine a healthier, more connected Capitol Hill.

Community input will help identify neighborhood priorities and inform future improvements designed to reduce pollution, strengthen neighborhood connections, and make it easier and more comfortable to move around without a car.

About the Program

Better streets, healthier connections, stronger neighborhoods

Motor vehicles are the largest source of harmful air pollution in Seattle. The Low Pollution Neighborhood program explores better ways to walk, roll, bike, and take transit, contributing to healthier communities and an improved quality of life.

Over the next three years, SDOT is partnering with residents, businesses, and community organizations in Lake City, Capitol Hill, South Park, and Georgetown to explore solutions that reduce pollution and build stronger neighborhoods.
