Olmstead is owned and operated by husband and wife team Lisa Tomlinson and Jesse Elliott and business partner Gregg Holcomb, three longtime restaurant industry veterans. Lisa, the front of house manager and Chef Jesse are first time restaurant owners, while Gregg previously owned much loved Capitol Hill bar Witness. Olmstead took over the location of The Broadway Grill which had closed 7 years previously with the intention of bringing the much-loved space back to the neighborhood. The idea behind Olmstead was to create a restaurant, bar and event space that would serve the community, from Sunday brunches to late night comedy shows and everything in between.
