Seattle Credit Union

Seattle Credit Union
About
A Credit Union for All of Us
Supporting communities across Washington for almost 100 years, we welcome everyone as members, regardless of economic status or citizenship.
Better Banking Since 1933
Our goal is to provide access to banking services often unavailable from other financial institutions.
• Fair rates on credit cards and loans
• Deposits that often yield higher interest rates than banks
• Reliable financial guidance with personal relationships
Invested in the Community
As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we reinvest profits back into our community through volunteering, providing free educational workshops and listening sessions, partnering with local non-profits, and creating products built to help those who have traditionally been underserved by the financial system.
Products Made To Support Local Non-Profits
For every member who opens a Feel Good Checking account, we donate $20 to non-profit community partners*.
Since 2008, Feel Good Checking has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for life-changing organizations around the Pacific Northwest.
Equity in Our Offering
We offer the same great loan products, savings accounts, and credit cards to all our members. We are committed to showing equity through all our product offerings.
Service Over Status
Our ITIN program helps give everyone in our community the opportunity to financially advance. It allows members with an ITIN who have lived and worked in the community for at least two years the ability to enjoy financial empowerment including the dream of homeownership.
Certified To Lend a Hand
We are a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), which means we have access to government funds that support diverse loans and programs designed to meet the needs of our communities.
Designated To Make a Difference
We are the first credit union in Seattle and one of just 70 credit unions across the country to receive this accreditation for our commitment to serve and educate the Hispanic community about financial independence. The National Credit Union Administration granted us the low-income designation which comes with regulatory benefits to help us better serve those most in need of banking services and greater financial education.
