Patrick Burns is the founder and CEO of Burns Investment Group, where he serves as the principal financial advisor. Based in the greater Seattle region, Patrick specializes in long-term financial planning, asset allocation, and designing customized, diversified investment strategies for clients. He focuses on helping individuals plan for retirement, grow and protect their wealth, and ensure smooth wealth transitions.

Before founding the Burns Investment Group, Patrick was a SVP - Investment officer with Wells Fargo Advisors, and was with Wells Fargo for 14 years. Known for his systematic approach to mitigating risks, Patrick empowers clients by breaking down complex financial concepts into clear, actionable strategies. This ability has earned him consistent praise from clients and peers alike. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and multiple licenses, including Series 7, 63, and 65, as well as insurance licenses in Life and Long-Term Care. 

Patrick is passionate about giving back to his community. Patrick proudly serves on the Advisory Board for the American Cancer Society since January 2025.  In his role with the Advisory Board, Patrick helps support the mission of the American Cancer Society to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, and to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer. From 2018-2020, he proudly served as a Trustee on the Board of the Bellevue Arts Museum, lending his expertise to advance local initiatives. Additionally, he volunteers with organizations such as Fair Vote Washington, advocating for electoral reforms. A lifelong aviation enthusiast and former helicopter pilot, Patrick brings the same focus and precision to his advisory work that he once applied to the skies. At home in Lake Forest Park, Washington, Patrick, his wife Kristina, and their daughter Adelaide enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling to spend time with family—a reflection of his belief in living a balanced and fulfilling life.
