Washington Health Benefit Exchange operates the state’s official health insurance marketplace, Washington Healthplanfinder, where one in four Washingtonians access quality health and dental insurance. On Washington Healthplanfinder individuals and/or families can shop, compare, and enroll into qualified health and dental plans as well as Washington Apple Health (Medicaid).

Washington Healthplanfinder offers:

• Plans that cover all 10 essential health benefits.
• Exclusive access to federal tax credits and Cascade Care Savings (a new state subsidy) to help lower monthly costs.
• Enrollment assistors that can help individuals at no cost review plans, understand financial assistance, and enroll into coverage.

Health insurance after a job loss: 

While COBRA is an option after a job loss, Washington Healthplanfinder offers cost-effective health plans, including Cascade Care plans — which offer more coverage and ways to save than non-Cascade plans.
