Capturing the human figure through drawing and painting has always been central to my art. To me, the beauty of the human form is magic, defined by its unique energy, movement, and individuality.

For the past ten years, I have been developing an ongoing series focused on the local DJs within our House dance community. This project is a long-term, evolving body of work that I intend to continue indefinitely. Our community is a constant source of inspiration, offering an ever-changing range of personalities and expressions to explore.

Through this series, I aim to capture more than just a likeness; I strive to depict presence, atmosphere, and the emotional rhythm surrounding these figures. My work reflects a deep appreciation for this culture, translating lived experience into visual form. Whether I am painting or DJing, House Music remains a deeply spiritual experience for me.

Leira DJs out of a desire to share the sublime. Her sets are curated from the diverse musical gems she’s collected through decades spent deeply rooted in music scenes across the US. Her ear for intrigue pulls her style of house and techno slightly left of center, but her dancer’s soul always keeps her firmly in the groove. She’s had the honor of opening for touring artists such as Justin Martin and esteemed local Seattle DJs at venues like Monkey Loft, Diffusion, and the Blue Moon Tavern.

Christine Michelle (7:20pm - 8:40pm):

A Seattle music producer and DJ based in iconic Seattle, Christine's sound is known as dark melodic bass-forward with her technical style latering vocals and atmospheric sounds through a multiverse of genres moving dance floors.
Christine was born in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood and raised srurrounded by music which developed a deep love for piano, brass, and strings with classical and jazz influence.
She discovered the underground dance music scene in the 90's and fell in love with UK Garage, Breaks, DnB, techno, and house, inspiring her to DJing in 2022 and to producing in 2023, after years of dancing.

Chris Tower is a Seattle-based DJ and producer known for crafting towering, progressive soundscapes that blur the lines between tech house, melodic techno, and progressive house.
Since emerging in 2009, he’s become a defining force in Seattle’s underground—an architect of atmosphere and a trusted opener for hard‐to‐define headliners.

As a longtime Opulent Temple resident, Chris has built a reputation for precision, depth, and a signature mystique. Along the way, he’s shared stages with Nora En Pure, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Jody Wisternoff, Stanton Warriors, Sharam, VNSSA, Rodriguez Jr., ATTLAS, Diplo, and many more.

Deeply rooted in the Burning Man community, Chris has spent over a decade helping produce Seattle’s Opulent Temple fundraisers and performing with camps and art projects across the playa. That influence shows—his sets carry a sun‐drenched, cinematic energy built for both introspection and ignition.
Chris Tower stands tall—literally and sonically—guiding dancefloors through immersive, evolving journeys that linger long after the last beat fades.

These all play a part in helping develop the healing pathways in both the micro and macrocosm.
