In November we’re thrilled to welcome a content specialist: Valerie Moseley will speak to us about The Top 10 Tax Mistakes Made by Small Businesses & Startups. She’ll share the most common mistakes she's seen business owners make, and have lots of room for Q&A. Valerie is a CPA licensed with the Washington State Board of Accountancy, and is a member of the WSCPA, NATP, and the AFWA where she is active in the Seattle chapter's tax roundtable. Valerie leads tax & accounting workshops for business support organizations such as Artist Trust, Seattle SCORE, and Seattle Public Library, alongside teaching continuing education to professional accounting groups. After working for several Seattle tax firms, she opened her own practice in 2010. Upon selling in 2018 she formed VMCPA, a tax consultancy, focusing on helping for-profit businesses and their owners optimize their tax results.
