Eastside Pride PNW is a diverse and inclusive group of people who work together to create a welcoming and supportive environment for LGBTQIA+ people who live, work, or visit the Eastside. Our mission is to foster unity, celebrate diversity, and build bridges across communities.


We need a reliable Treasurer to oversee our financial operations. You will protect Eastside Pride’s financial health and help us achieve our goals. You will also plan and track financial strategies and activities, manage budgets, and comply with tax and state reporting requirements. As a leader, you will also contribute to the development and implementation of our strategic priorities and vision.


Responsibilities:

- Manage all financial transactions of the organization

- Develop and implement internal financial policies and controls

- Report financial performance and projections to the Board of Directors

- Manage budgets and ensure all expenses are within budget

- Comply with all relevant laws and regulations for financial transactions and tax filings

- Maintain accurate bank records and reconcile accounts

- Prepare and file all necessary tax forms by deadlines

- Ensure 501c3 nonprofit compliance and ethics

- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Eastside Pride Strategic Plan


Qualifications:

• Consistent commitment to the Eastside Pride mission, vision and values

• Authentically connect with Eastside Pride aspirations through your personal experiences

• Proficient in financial management and accounting standards

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Skilled in time management

• Familiar with Quickbooks and Excel

• Non-profit financial experience preferred

• Inclusive, collaborative, and respectful leader


Time Commitment: This is a two-year volunteer role with no term limits. The time required varies by season:

• April - September: ~2-3 hours/week* (Financial monitoring)

• October - March: ~4-5 hours/week* (Budgeting, reporting, filing)

• The Board meets virtually every two months (evenings) for 1-1.5 hours

• As available, help set-up/staff at key events and social activities

*These are approximate times and may differ based on your workstyle
