Job Summary:
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will engage regularly with your client portfolio, fostering relationships and acting as their advocate, effectively guiding them through their insurance journey from the onboarding process and on. You will nurture relationships with existing clients and usher new clients into the DML portfolio, offering them an exceptional client experience along the way, adhering to our Company's Mantra: "We treat each of our clients as if they were our only one". You will be servicing a diverse book of business from small to large businesses.
After an initial training period in our Seattle, Washington office, we offer a hybrid work model.
Primary Duties:
- Correspond with new and existing clients via phone and email, supporting a positive client experience by using effective communication, being highly responsive, and addressing issues swiftly and prudently.
- Provide policy reviews, offer coverage recommendations and build tailor-made policies for new and existing clients.
- Be your clients’ go-to for insurance-related questions by being an expert in carrier coverages and processes, and by keeping up-to-date with industry changes.
- Escort clients through insurance procedures, liaising between client and carriers and work in conjunction with Assistant Account managers to process: claims, policy changes and cancellations, payments, renewals and endorsements, certificates and other insurance requests.
- Maintain complete client and policy history in our Agency Management System software (Newton) adhering to company protocol.
- Handle sensitive and confidential data with the highest level of discretion and in strict accordance with company policies and procedures.
Additional skills and qualifications needed for success at our Agency:
- Licensed in Property & Casualty insurance for WA State. *Include your WA insurance license number
- Minimum 2-year insurance experience with commercial/business lines
- Highly responsive & organized with proven history demonstrating hyper-vigilance in handling of sensitive data and documents
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- A thorough and meticulous record-keeper with acute attention to detail
- Maintain impeccable professionalism, upholding company standards in demeanor and client communication
- An empathetic communicator, able to anticipate customer needs and act proactively on their behalf
- A resourceful problem-solver: foresee possible outcomes and take ownership of resolving issues
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes
- Adapt quickly to new programs and technologies
- Promote cooperation, collaborating when necessary and step in to help team mates as needed
- Display an eagerness to learn and grow professionally
- Excel in time management
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Agency Management Systems/Newton
- Knowledge of Adobe
- Bilingual/Multilingual a plus

Salary: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
