Description of Position
GSBA is seeking a Marketing and Graphic Production Coordinator to support marketing campaigns, graphic production design and events. This role blends digital marketing, communication, and event marketing support ensuring GSBA’s programs and events are effectively promoted and executed.
The Marketing and Graphic Production Coordinator will be a strategic thinker, self-starter, and a detail-oriented project manager who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This is a hybrid position with a minimum of THREE in-office days plus events.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple visual and written brands with consistency, clarity, and creativity.
- Coordinate various marketing tasks, including following up with stakeholders, preparing materials for publications, producing email communications, creating and managing events on the organization’s calendar, and updating website content.
- Collaborate with members of the Marketing, Fundraising, Membership, and Advocacy teams to build marketing, stewardship, and communications emails using Constant Contact and CRM Software (GrowthZone and Bloomerang)
- Fully own the building, sending, and evaluation of external email campaigns (1-2 per week).
- Manage WordPress website updates, ensuring the homepage, calendar, blog, and other sections remain current and relevant.
- Develop and maintain a calendar of production design elements (website graphics, e-blast graphics, signage for events, etc.)
- Assist with event marketing and logistics, ensuring promotional campaigns align with event, membership, scholarship and donor goals.
- Support event communications, including building event pages on the website, designing event signage, and creating and deploying email invitations and newsletters. Attendance at all GSBA events is required.
- Maintain CRM data for event engagement and reporting.
- Assist in segmentation of audiences, tracking and reporting marketing data and statistics
- Work cross-departmentally to maximize communications initiatives targeted toward membership, scholarship, and donor cultivation.
Professional Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing, graphic design, or event support.
- Demonstrated success in project management, meeting deadlines, and balancing multiple priorities ability to effectively accept constructive feedback
- Must be highly proficient with current versions of Adobe Creative Suite and familiar with a range of other design and multimedia software and applications
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience with design and layout of print publications such as magazines or newsletters
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to transgender, non-conforming, non-binary people as well as youth, racial, ethnic, cultural, and sexual diversity is essential
- Experience supporting digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing (Constant Contact), website CMS (WordPress) and knowledge of SEO principles, Intermediate HTML and Google Ads is strongly desired.
- Completes projects on deadline while coordinating with various internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn and advance content creation skillset including minor video and sound editing.
- Experience with event promotion including marketing, logistics, and community engagement.
- A self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A deep commitment to GSBA’s mission and the advancement of the LGBTQ+ community.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional mandatory evenings and weekends for events.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, non-exempt, salaried position with a salary range of $63,000–$69,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer an excellent employer-paid benefits package that includes medical, dental, and short-term disability insurance, as well as the option to participate in an individual retirement account (IRA) with employer matching contributions.
